  • Locks with existing firmware are welcome
    We don't need to flash custom firmware, as long
    as the protocol is documented

Our Story

It started in Thailand. Our founder Tizian was visiting a friend who was setting up a hostel – and quickly ran into a wall. Professional access control systems were either overpriced, hard to source, or simply not built for how modern hospitality actually works.

That conversation stuck. If this problem exists in Thailand, it exists everywhere outside the handful of markets where enterprise vendors bother to show up.

So we set out to build the full stack ourselves: hardware, firmware, and a cloud platform that makes secure, flexible access simple – for hostels, hotels, apartments, and offices, wherever they are.

TMXSystems is built by Tizian and Robin – friends since school, with over ten years of shared history. Tizian leads the engineering side as a Site Reliability Engineer with deep experience in cloud infrastructure and embedded systems. Robin leads business development, bringing years in procurement, finance, and commercial partnerships across different industries. Engineering and go-to-market, aligned from day one.
